Campari
Gaspare Campari moved there from Turin, where he worked as master distiller at a popular restaurant, and started running an inconspicuous coffee in front of the Duomo.
After losing the coffee, he was given a new project. This is how Coffee Pasticceria Campari was born in 1867. There, Gaspare used to offer to customers an aperitif of his invention.
A beautiful opera singer, Lina Cavalieri, was the image for the promotion of the brand, which soon became international arriving into France, Russia and the United States.
Today Campari is used as an ingredient for many cocktails all over the world.
